This was the first time I photographed during a snow storm. I found it hard to get the camera to focus with all the snow flying around! I gave up using manual settings because it was too cold to work my camera without my gloves and too awkward to use my gloves. In this photo, my camera was set to automatic. I actually like the way this photo came out at shutter speed of 1/60. The snow really looks like it’s blowing hard, which it was. I would have preferred a lower ISO, though, for a less bright photo because it was darker in the rhododendron than this photo shows. Here, automatic settings were ISO at 800 and aperture at f/10.
